The wedding is still a year out and I’m already having dreams. In last night’s, the ceremony was great until Mom and I went out for Chipotle afterwards and I realized that the officiant never had us exchange vows. While lamenting this, I also realize we didn’t tell anyone where the reception would be, leading to”Oh shit we need a place to have the reception!” Somehow the location of the reception had never been planned, so I’m running around the city (one I don’t live in, btw) trying to find something before the reception starts. Then I woke up. Still hadn’t found a location.

Ugh I’d be lying if I said I haven’t had dreams like that! My wedding nightmares are more about my dress – forgetting to pick it up and having to scramble to wear something else!
I’m not sure how far along you are in planning, but if you are struggling or are worried about geting things done – maybe it’ll help to write a comprehensive list of everything that has to get done. It can’t hurt to write down all of your tasks, to focus on only one item on your list at a time and then also CROSS OFF your completed tasks in a bolder ink.
I keep a ((very detailed))list like this. The first time I looked at it, I was totally overwhelmed and thought it was a terrible idea, but then it made me much more organized and able to pick an item to focus on and not worry about everything else because they are already on the list and will get their own time later.

@HonoraryNerd: it happens. Ive had MANY wedding nightmares… just write them off as normal bridal stress. Ive had 4 wedding related nightmares to date, all about my dress.
