@LY1923:I havent had this happen to me but I wouldnt take it from them. They are a business and you are the customer. If they said it would be there in sept. then its BADDD business for it to be running this far behind and especially if they didnt notify you until you called them/went it. I would go back in (or call) and tell them that you are paying a lot of money for this to have been here weeks ago and that you expect a discount for their lateness. Seriously- it could work. Also you can look into the BBB and see if you could report them for this type of business (i dont know much about the BBB so im not sure).

The same thing is happening to me (salon told me September and still no dress). I am not freaking out yet because my wedding isn’t til April but it does annoy me. I am doing a lot of alterations to my dress and that is why I ordered early. I have to keep telling myself not to stress about it yet. I think the normal first fitting is about 2 months before the wedding so don’t get too stressed about it. I have convinced myself not to freak out at them 😉 until December. I think this is pretty common when you order your gown early.
