- Wedding: August 2011
I am wearing the Sottero & Midgley “Adorae” dress. The things that come to mind when I think of a theme for my wedding are “rustic, classic, elegant, modern, relaxed”. We are getting married in the country. The ceremony is outdoors, and the reception is indoors. Our colors are a mix of teal/aqua and a light buttery yellow. I have attached a picture of me in “the dress” and some pictures of what inspires me for my wedding. I have also attached a picture of what my boquet will look like. My main flowers will be roses, carnations and gerbera daisies. The boquet is the one sitting in the square vase with the teal ribbon.
I have already purchased the dress. So, there is no turning back on that front. My concern is do the two styles mesh well? I feel like the dress is so fancy and over the top. And the wedding style/theme is going to be so relaxed. Please help!
I wonder if I have to even use the same flowers in the reception hall that me and my wedding party use? It was recommended that I use a “tighter” bouquet because my dress is more formal. But, I am more of a wildflower or “loose” bouquet kind of girl.
