    Hola Bees,

I'm looking for some quick advice. FI has a...thing for garter belts and thigh highs. So I have experience wearing them, but not for hours or just walking around. Ahem.

So, Victoria's Secret is having a sale right now, and I am buying lingerie, clothes and a bikini for the honeymoon. I currently have a white garter belt in my shopping cart, so my plan would be to wear it with white stockings under my dress at the wedding. Nice surprise for the evening.

Is this a terrible idea? Does anyone else have experience in this department? Thanks!

Everyone has their own comfort level. Before you buy something new, wear the one you already have for several hours to see how it works for you. Then decide from there.

I once wore them under a full, seemingly innocent dress on a date as a surprise for afterwards.  I probably had them on for about seven hours and was totally fine (in heels no less).  I didn't buy them at VS though...they were a good bit pricier (bought off a discount site though!), so I can't testify about VS comfort/quality.

And btw I DEFINITELY plan to wear the whole get-up under my wedding dress, couldn't think of a better time to do so.

I agree that you should try wearing them around for a while. If they don't work, you can always do a quick change at the end of the reception / when you arrive at your hotel.

Personally, I would wait to put them on until after the wedding is over.  You are probably going to be so overheated by the end of the day but you can change into something sexy after the ceremony.
