I always check the wedding/formal dress section when I'm at Goodwill, but so far I've never seen anything but low-quality, 80s-ish stuff. I would love to find something like that!
That is great, but what are you doing with the $3,000 one? lol :) I found a MOH gown that matched the BM gowns color (different designer) at Goodwill for $12.99
What are you going to do with your other dress?
Before I was engaged I saw and tried on a dress at goodwill. I actually regret NOT getting it. It was a La Spousa and it was AMAZING! I didnt know the name at the time. I didn't want to buy it since I wasn't engaged or even close, but if I had been I would have snatched it right up!
At my local Salvation Army, I found a lot of wedding gowns. They were all brand new. I loved this one gown, but I already purchased my wedding gown for $700.
I was on Goodwill's auction site the other night and saw two GORGEOUS wedding dresses. I think it's awesome you found one!
It is sooo amazing! I had a back to school email coupon and must have deleted it. I just called the headquarters and they emailed me a new one for 15% off!
I don't know what I will do with the Lazaro, maybe ebay? I am only going to get married once, if I don't go buy the dress I will regret it for ever I think!
... now let's all just cross our fingers that it is still there!!! I hid it last night in the middle of stuff lol :)
I don't have pics of the dress at goodwill yet... but I will! It's just absolutely plain. and I have had the hardest time finding a dress with no beading, embroidering, etc...

OKAY!!! I just got back from running to the store on my lunch break! I didn't have time to put the dress on and take a picture, but here is the stock photo. The front is just plain satin! LOVE IT!

Wow pretty!! What does the front look like? I cannot believe you got your wedding dress at Goodwill when you already have a $3k one! That is too funny!
YES! We found my niece's wedding dress at Salvation Army for $25! It had to be cleaned but still...
I also donated my first wedding dress (the hated one custom-made by Gioavonni's Bridal) to Salvation Army in hopes that someone could use it for SOMETHING.
I will take a picture of the front on me later.. the stock photos don't show it.
Here are some pictures of the Lazaro, but the beading doesn't really look as dark, it is a very light silver, just bad pictures!

What an AWESOME find. I saw on the other day at Goodwill in the preservation box with veil and slip for $20. It a tiny bit dated but good for someone wanting a modest dress.
Yours is an awesome score though! I love thrift stores. LOVE love love. FI is dressed for the wedding head to toe for $25 thanks to thrift store shopping. I'll be paying more for my dress but figure if everyone else can be dressed well from thrifting it all evens out!
Wow what a bargain!! That is amazing -- meant to be! :) It's gorgeous, can't wait to see the front, too! I'm sure you'll be able to sell the Lazaro and things will even out so your 2nd dress was still worth it! Great find.

So, my $3,000 Lazaro dress was dropped off at the cleaners on Friday to be cleaned prior to the wedding.
Last night while shopping for a belt at Goodwill I found tucked into a rack the most amazing wedding dress I have ever seen. I told my Mom that I wanted her to come see what it looks like after I try it on and she told me not to...
It was AMAZING... fit PERFECT... unbelievable!!! Even my Mom was amazed. What are the chances??!! It is $70 and still has the plastic tag hangy things.... I think I am going to buy it on my lunch break today!
Anyone else find anything awesome at a thrift store?
