That's ok...I didn't get the "this is it" thing either. Maybe I don't have an emotional attachment to the dress?
Oh I totally know the feeling. Can you take a break for a couple of weeks? Don't look at mags or blogs and then go back fresh??
I am a two dress bride and was only ho-hum about the first one but just found one that I LOVE-LOVE on Saturday -- exactly one month until our wedding. I really want to tell you not to settle for anything you don't love on you.
I tried on over 100 dresses before I finally found the one that I loved. As a petite bride, it is a bit harder to find dresses that won't overwhelm your figure. Vera Wang worked well for my petite friends - is there any chance she is having a sample sale near you? One of my friends got a very affordable sample, and it looked perfect on her. Just keep looking and eventually you will find it!
I will try not to but it's really hard since my wedding is only a few months away and everyone is telling me that I'm running out of time! :(
I'm not sure if i found 'THE dress' either, but when i had gone on my first (and only) dress shopping trip, the one i purchased i thought was beautiful and looked lovely.. my MOH loved it and thought it was beautiful, so i though ok, maybe this is it.. i didnt break down into tears or anything like that, so sometimes i wonder if i did find 'the one'.. or maybe theres something wrong with me??
I never had "the feeling" either. I found one I like, looked good on me and had a good price and I bought it. I'm happy with my decision. I am just not the kind of girl to get mushy over a dress.
As for the Diamante, I don't think it will be overwhelming.
Christos dresses look great on petite brides if it's in your budget. I can believe that Vera Wang would too. I think the Diamante wouldn't be overwhelming at all, but wait until you find one you'll be confident in. I didn't feel emotional, just thought I looked great in my dress.
diamante should look just fine on you... pretty dress
just take a break for right now, then go back to the store and try the same dress one more time and see what your thoughts are...
I love my dress! i didnt cry when i put it on the first time.. it was not emotional moment at all...but i was really happy with that... so not necessarily crying for the dress means that that one is the ONE!
good luck!

Hi Ladies,
I'm having a dress dilemma. I've tried on so many dresses already but I feel like I haven't found the perfect dress yet. I tried on a couple that looks good but I haven't found one that made me emotional or made me have that "wow.." moment :(
Anyway, I am thinking of buying the Pronovias Diamante dress but I'm worried that it will look overwhelming on me since i'm petite (5'2", 102 lbs). I tried on the dress at the store and it looks good on me but like I said earlier, I didn't get that "this is it..." feeling!
Any feedback or opinion will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!!
