Number 2! Wow. My friend is very small, probably only 5'2. She got married in a dress with a big-ish skirt (actually it was a super princess dress) and oh my goodness, it looked amazing.
I love the second one as well, but I thought POB was no more? Can you still order their dresses somewhere?
I think the pick ups make you look a bit shorter & overwhelm your frame. I had the same problem & bought the same Paloma dress as you but found it without pickups. Your seamstress can take these out so you don't have to buy another dress. Good luck!
You look very lovely in the first dress. Unfortunately Priscilla of Boston is no longer in business. They closed their doors in December. The company to whom they belong decided to focus on David's Bridal instead.
Have you looked at Watters? Their Austin dress is a cross between the POB Maeve and your first dress.

I think that the A-line silhouette would look really good on you, especially this Amsale dress!

@Sarahbear: Yes! I've tried on a few dresses since, and I tend to gravitate towards the Biggish skirts!
@Shlieka: Thank you so much for these suggestions. I think I like the simplicity of A-line or fuller ballgown skirts on me :) Your suggestions are all beautiful!
Yes, I realized POB is now closed :(
However, I was entertaining purchasing a used POB gown.
Here are the other 2 dresses I love:
What do you girls think?

1) Justin Alexander 8502 (I tried it on and absolutely loved it!!! It was only the second dress I've tried, so I'm looking to try on more before I make a decision)
2) a used Monique Lhullier dress, like this one

Lol, I looked at some of your other posts to try and get an idea of what kind of a bride you are/wedding you're planning. Definitely the Justin Alexander. Somehow I don't see you as a lace and pickups kind of girl. I think you'd look much better in clean, modern lines. And you seem to be very drawn to bow details. The bow at the back of the Justin Alexander would match the bow and sparkle on the PLV wedges you want.
I looked all over the web to try and see if I could hunt down those elusive wedges. Unfortunately, I could only unearth a grey pair in size 7: http://www.ebay.com/itm/183-Womens-POUR-VICTOIRE-Cordelia-Gray-Satin-Heels-Sz-7-/250968698295?pt=US_Women_s_Shoes&hash=item3a6ee66db7#ht_805wt_1043
Perhaps you could have them dyed?
There's a similar pair at Nina http://ninashoes.com/ericka-orchid-crystal-satin--15323
They have an design your own option, where you could customize the shoe to the color you want. You might be able to write them an e-mail and ask them to strass up the heel as well.
There are also a few etsy sellers with whom you can customize your own shoe:

http://www.etsy.com/shop/DesignYourPedestal?ref=seller_info
How small are the shoes? If they're not too too small, take them to a shoemaker, or a shoe repairer and ask if it's possible for them to widen the shoe for it to fit.
Last option is to try and see if anyone makes a look-alike for the shoe? I know that the PVL shoe is based off of Aruna Seth's Cerise, but it's also a $900 that doesn't come in violet. Hopefully someone else is making a similar style!
Best of luck!
@Shlieka: Aw, thank you for the research and great suggestions!
I don't think I am a big fan of the pick-up's on me, but I do like subtle lace, bow, and organza/chiffon details on simpler ballgown silhouettes.
Below is a photo of me with a sash on the waist of my current gown and photos of another dream dress, the Priscilla of Boston Vineyard Morgan, and then, the Maggie Sottero Isadora Marie.
What do you think?

i love the first dress on you so much!!!
I'm not at all a fan of the giant bow and all the gathering on the second dress in satin. Lace is definitely in right now. Just my opinion. The first dress is more fitting to your body i think.
Oyvey, the link to the photo of you in your current dress with sash is broken =(
Sorry, correction, I think that the subtle lace on POB Morgan is perfect for you. I love the lace on that dress. I think it's probably my favorite of all the dresses you've put up. It has a great clean silhouette, that bow detail, and it's really elegant looking. Lol, it's one of the ones I hoped to find at the POB sale. I ended up buying the POB Constance, which is a similar silhouette. I love the built in boning in the dress because it feels super supportive and makes your waist look really good ^_^

I currently have a used Paloma Blanca #3609 dress with French Alencon Lace with Chiffon Pick-up Skirt. It was the very first dress I had tried on upon my dress search, but now, I'm having second thoughts.
Here are also pictures of the POB Maeve from their Vineyard collection.
What do you girls think? Shall I keep my Paloma Blanca or opt for the simple, A-line look of the Priscilla of Boston Maeve in Silk Taffeta?
I'm not sure what would be most flattering for my petite, 5'4", 110lb frame.
Help is much appreciated!
