I went for my second fitting yesterday and I just really felt blah about my dress. This was the first time anyone else had seen my dress. I think at my previous fitting I assumed that I felt indifferent about my dresss because no one else had been there to reassure me, but I had my best friend with me this time and I still didn't feel better. I'm just not excited about it :( I feel like it makes me look bigger than I am. Not fat, just bigger.
I can't tell you how many posts like this I have responded to when bees when questioning their dress choice but they look AMAZING. Logically, I'm trying to think about it that way. Emotionally, I'm a mess. I literally thought that I was going to throw up in the fitting room and the seamstress made me sit down.
Here are some pictures. Please excuse my face, I was not really happy when the pictures were being taken. Also, the dress is bustled in all the pictures.

And you, like the other people you have responded to, look amazing. Add a smile and it will be spectacular. It shows your figure off very nicely, it has a nice shape and detailing. I hope you feel better about it because you have nothing to worry about.
PS I always feel like I look way worse in my dress in pictures than real life so I figure if it looks good in pictures it must be even better in reality.

You look beautiful in your gown. You are teeny tiny. I can only dream about being your size.
I think that once you get your gown completely fitted (I can't see where it still needs to be fitted though) and you put your accessories on, you will fall in love all over again with your gown.
You look like a bride and I know your FI will be extremely happy seeing you walk up the aisle to him.

Yeah your crazy! Your dress fits you like a glove and is so pretty! I'm a 2 dress bride so please trust me on this!
I know how you feel. I know my dress is beautiful, but when I see it on me I'm just not sure :( I've been having nightmares about this for months, and my wedding is still 10 months away!
I think what might be making you think you're bigger is the ruching on your waist. But I want you to take a real good look at that last picture, look at those curves!! You really do look so thin in your dress. I don't comment on girl's pics if I dont like their dress, but I think yours is really lovely. I love the fabric vs the details on the dress, and I think it looks really great against your skin. Maybe get some accessories for it, maybe you just aren't getting excited because it hasn't come together yet?

you may feel bigger cause the dress isnt sitting on you right the waist of the dress is about an inch lower than where your natural waist is... just wait till you next fitting you will see the difference and feel it... even with the slight offsetting of the dress you look damn tiny and you look amazing

I love it. It's pretty, shiny, hugs in all the right places, has gorgeous bling... what's not to love?
I think that dress does amazing things on you. The diagonal pleats gives you an amazing figure and the eyes are drawn right to your waist and it gives you the classic hourglass figure.
Sit down, with a cup of tea, and remember how you felt when you first found the dress? There must have been something there, something that made you go "This is the one". Remember that moment and breathe.

If you want to add a little wow, get a cathedral legnth veil, it might make it feel less blah about it.
But you do look wonderful in it & you are tiny.. so no worries there!

If it really makes you look bigger than you are that must be a good thing, because it gives you a very nice hourglass shape with curves in all the right places while your waist still looks tiny. I understand where you're coming from because I was one of those brides. I wore my mermaid Lazaro believing till the last minute it makes me look thick. I finally just let it go and said to myself "it's a very beatiful dress and I'm a pretty girl and noone will notice the extra couple inches when it all comes together". Now that I look at my pics I actually like how it looks on me, which I'm sure you will too once the bridal nerves have calmed down!
I think you look ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! No joke, I'm sorry that your emotions are toying with you but you look gorgeous. Could it be your nerves? Are you just being hard on yourself?

Maybe you are just done with the whole wedding planning aspect. I think you look hot! That dress fits you like a glove and it has just the right amount of sparkle. I also love the fabric. So basically I covet your dress...yikes.
