I've got in contact with contact with Millybridal on DHGate.
They offered me the dress made for about €100
Anyone every get their dress made by this dressmaker ?
Read reallllllyyy bad reviews about DHgate.. i wouldnt risk my wedding dress on giving them a try..
I dont mind risking the cost of 100 or 200 to see what it turns out like.
I am in love with this dress !
I am planning on going to try on the original in Browns of London.
Can anyone reccomend a dress maker who has done monique lhuillier copies and does anyone have some pictures?

I hear that babyonline and monicasbridal do good work on dhgate but I prefer other sellers like

I only have experience with dressilyme though. I am just saying there are great reviews from other sellers and dhgate just advertises well. Check out my favorites on my profile and just scroll trhough other girls reviews. I like to check out all sellers and quite a few come up with good work. After you have contacted the company go with the one that makes you feel the most comfortable about your order. There are some good ones out there.
I'm not too familiar with DHGate but from what I know, I believe it all depends on the seller.
My friend had the most awful experience with a seller on DHGate. She contacted the seller beforehand to ensure everything was legitimate and to discuss the details of the dress. She felt pretty confident that they would do a good job. When her dress arrived, it was YELLOW, too short, completely the wrong shape and the beading was all wrong. My friend's mom is a seamstress so the measurements she sent in could not have been that off to create such an awful dress.
My friend immediately started return proccess (100% full refund as stated on the seller's page) and the seller refused and offered her $15. My friend tried fighting for a full refund with the seller but was unsuccessful. Now she is going through DHgate to get her refund but it has been a long proccess.
I think this experience turned the rest of us off from getting a custom-made dress overseas. However, there seems to be nothing but really good reviews about dressilyme and jasmine on this site!

Agreed! It all depends on the seller. Don't base your opinon off the price or th picture. Many sellers will accept a picture from any website and work from that. But give great pics with a variety of angles and some closeups.
Thats why I suggested the other retailers because they also accept pictures.
When I 1st started searching I thought Dhgate or lighinthebox were my only options but there are many more with better reviews.
However, I will say that on dhgate monicasbridal and babyonline are supposed to be reliable sellers. I have seen a few complaints about some detailing but for the most part many people seem happy.
Go onto destination weddings website and scroll through the custom or knock off section. Many girls have pics from either of these two sellers and you can follow their process.
I used Weddinggirl on DHgate and got a dress, wasn't what I ordered, cheap fabric, ok stitching. They wouldn't take it back and promised me a new dress, but strung me along until after the 45 day policy was up with Paypal. DHGates customer service never responded to any of my complaints and their despute resolution center did NOT work.
I would NOT risk buying from DHGate. They do not have any protection against poor quality and paypal only has a 45 protection policy. Your dress won't be shipped within 45 days. So you're stuck.

Hi All,
I'm new to this website.
I am hoping to get married in Oct and I am looking to get a replica Monique LHuillier dress made.
I order a lot from DHgate , but not wedding dresses ( obviously )
Has anyone ordered from here ,and if so can you advise a good dress maker and provide pictures.
