My fiance and I will be getting married on 12-13-14 in a small (36 guests) weddding. We are keeping it fairly casual and simple. Wedding colors are mint, peach, emerald, and gold/rose gold (rose gold e ring ). Just for some background!
I fell in love with Melissa Blackburn’s Heidi dress…. So pretty!
I am conflicted about the color of the jewels on the neckline. With gold and rose gold as part of the wedding colors, I feel the silver color of the jeweled neckline may not look that great.
I am planning on, hopefully, getting a replica dress from Jasmine’s. I have been thinking about changing the jewels from the silver color to a more champagne colors with some pearl accents. To avoid those jewels from clashing with an all white dress I would probably get the dress fabric in a very pale ivory, almost a cream color.
Opinions? Suggestions? I am having a hard time visualizing just what the dress may look like with the changes and I don’t want to order it and hate it when it arrives!
Photos of the dress!

@mallorinicole: Why don’t you get a dress that you love with a simple scoop neckline (like in the picture) but add the jewels/pearls yourself?
It would be easier to glue the jewels onto the dress with a hot glue gun — the pictures may or may not show the champagne/gold colour of the jewels, depending on lighting. There are many beading stores you can visit; plus side is Boxing Week is coming in a few weeks — so you’ve got time to scout for jewels you like!

I think part of the dress is that the jewels are in a different colour to the fabric, making them stand out. Yes, the would clash with your wedding colours, so I like the idea of changing them. If you wanted a similar effect of having the neckline stand out but with cream jewels, maybe try having the neckline edge say 2 inches, made from a lace or crotchet, to which you attach the jewels, but leaving some open areas that you can see the skin through, the skin then provides the colour accents.

Love this dress too, any ideas what fabric this is?
