I saw the first dress and thought wow that looks amazing then I scrolled down and saw the second one and that looks absolutely amazing on you. You look perfect.

Not all petites are shaped the same, so ignore all those articles that say you can/can’t wear something. As a petite bride, I realized that it’s all about proportion. You clearly look awesome in drop waist ballgowns, but you should try other shapes to be sure.

A couple tips:

Take a picture of every dress you try on, unless it’s awful. It’s helpful to see how the dress photographs.

GET OFF THE PEDESTAL. There are a lot of tiered designs that don’t look right when you hem the bottom. Step off the pedestal and see where the dress will really hit.

Trust your gut. If you feel beautiful and tall, you’ll look beautiful and tall. I ended up getting a drop waist fit-and-flare with an ornate skirt, the opposite of what I thought I wanted. But it’s perfect for me.
