Hi Bees! I am trying to find out how and where I can have my dress preserved in a framed shadow box. On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Adrienne Maloof has her dress behind a large glass case in her bedroom/closet….thats exactly what I want.
Google “Adrienne Maloof framed wedding dress” You’ll love it!

Hmm…maybe you can google local dress shopes or call around?
Looks pretty amazing!

I love that. I wish I had the space to do it! Also, that may lend to a risk in it yellowing which would not be good.

I bet you could get a museum-grade piece of glass to block out most of the harmful UV rays. I just read that the framing of her gown was a mother’s day gift from her husband and kids! So sweet!

That is a cool idea, I’d have nowhere to put that though, but I just googled framing a wedding dress, and places came up (here’s one http://www.customartframing.com/Custom_Art_Framing/picture_framing.html) that said they’d done it before, you’d just have to contact them.

I found a site that looks pretty interesting. Looks like they can frame prom dresses too. They’re located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL though so I’m not sure how traveling and shipping would work with a five foot glass box :/
