So…I had been searching for MONTHS for the perfect dress. I am having a beach wedding in July. A couple weeks ago I bought was I thought was “the dress” because I was so discouraged and tired of looking. Now I am regretting it. What should I do?? Sell the dress and start looking again?? Dunno what to do!!!

Dress regret is common. Post a picture of you in the dress and we’ll help you get rid of the regret!

Is it beach appropriate? Would it look better if it had a sweetheart neckline? Where can I find a better sash? I do not like the champange one anymore 🙁

I LOVE your dress…I think it’s definitely beach appropriate. I like the sash in the picture, but if you’re looking for a different color most bridal boutiques or DB has them. As for the sweetheart neckline, I think it looks fine as is, but if you can afford to have one, do it! I wanted one with my dress but the alterations were too much for it. You look beautiful!

I think your dress look fantastic. I am also getting married on te beach and wearing lace. If you want a sweetheart neckline, go for it. I think it looks good the way it is, but go for the change if you think it you will like it better.

@adams.sarah2012: Your dress is beautiful! It is definately appropriate for the beach. I think a sweetheart neckline would be beautiful, but it is also lovely as it is. I agree about the sash. It is a little lack-luster. I believe David’s Bridal sells sashes, and if you can’t find one you love there, you can always look on etsy!

You look beautiful!! I love that dress, and I think it would be perfect for a beach wedding. It’s flowy and comfortable, but very elegant and bridal.
If you don’t like the sash you could totally change it for something else. Maybe a white sash? Or something with bling?

Yes, I think I need to try it on again. . . It is still at the Bridal Shop because I did not pay in full…I am going tomorrow.
I have to admit I have been browsing the Classifieds and have fallen in love with
ADORAE Sottero & Midgley Style# JSM1307
I love it!!! Do you think it would be okay on the beach??

@adams.sarah2012: I love your original dress so much more than Adorae! I also think it is better suited for the beach. Definitely try it on again with a sparkly sash similar to the built-in belt on Adorae. As for the neckline, I think it is elegant as is, so I would probably leave it or do a slight dip rather than a true sweetheart.

Love this dress! Totally flatters you in all the right places! Try it one with a sparkly sash as others have said and I think you’ll love it!

The dress is perfect, just change the sash. Also, is that your veil? It is nice but I don’t really see it on a beach.
For the sash I’d do a solid colored one that is tied in the front. You could probably even make it yourself:
