So i chose the 1st dress and its paid for and i should be getting it on September 20th (according to DB) but my only problem with this dress is that it is sleveless and because of the beautiful lace in the back i cant just wear a 1/2 sleeve bolero to it because it will kill the beauty of the dress. And i dont know how long it will take for me to add sleeves (wedding is October 5) (uh yea!) and im in houston, tx which is super humid and hot even in October! and this dress is hot! and my venue is outside and im big too all this does not mix.
For the 2nd dress i love the fact that it is so soft and not heavy at all and that its flowy because it makes me feel like a princess. But i feel like i look bulkier ugh. but i love the dress now that im looking at it more. I could easily add a bolero to it and i would look awesome. problem is i could afford it but i would really be pushing my budget i would be poor!
Please tell me the truth so i know what to do, im already big so i have insecurities about being the center of attention i want to look my best. OH! and i made a deal with the FH that while dress shopping i would send him pics of the dress’s i did NOT pick and he saw this one and was dissapointed and thats kinda making me self conscious.

i love love love the first dress!!! Why do you need at add sleeves?

I really love the first one, don’t change it you look beautiful in it!!!

I think the first one on you looks amazing. I’m a plus sized gal, too, and I understand about the arm situation… but we are all our own worst critic, so what you notice, won’t be noticed by everyone else.
If you do feel super self conscious, try getting extra lace from DB and having a sleeve put on. It’ll be definately under the gun, but I’m sure it could be expedited.
I don’t think you need a sleeve though. You look lovely.

@albamiranda28: I honestly like the first one better. It nips your waist in nicely. The second one is just kinda, there. Even with a bolero is still sort of meh. I would suggest a colored sash to it, to break it up a bit.
What do you really feel good in?

I really love you in the 1st dress… I don’t think anything needs to be added! Beautiful!

i tried on both of those dresses too, and liked them also, personally i favored one over two, but i picked a different dress for me. but i really really love one. i went in thinking that was the one.

and i do think number one is more flattering on you, i think you look skinner. number two( while beautiful) makes you look bigger IMO

@albamiranda28: First dress is more flattering. If you think you simply can’t wear #1, keep looking. The second dress, while comfortable, isn’t nearly as pretty and as flattering as the first.

I love dress number one! I think it looks really good on you! And I don’t think you need to add sleeves or a bolero.

The first one is amazing~! I think it’s so flattering on you. I tried on the second dress as well so I know what you mean that it’s light and flowy and airy. But in the end, it’s just a nice white dress. Not too much special about it.
The first one is just… WOW!

I think because the second one is looser on the bottom it creates the wrong ilusion and I love how you look in the first dress, I think it’s super flattering!

#1 looks great on you! I don’t think you need to add sleeves or anything. I know how it is worrying about arms but let me tell you…a well-positioned veil does WONDERS in photos. You look gorgeous, stop second guessing!!

@LilRhodyGem: +1. This.
Dress 1 looks beautiful on you, but if it’s not comfortable then I would continue looking. The first one flatters you much more than the second. Either way, I’m pretty sure your FI will think you’re the most beautiful woman in the world no matter what dress you choose. 🙂
