Hello, girls. I decided to sew one of my wedding dresses( i will have two of them: one for the ceremony and the other for going to church). together with my tailor stoped at this model. it is almost ready, and look what we got. how is it to you?

I think it looks very nice on you. If you take the top off, is it a strapless dress or does it only work with the top on. I know that is not your intention but I was thinking after the wedding it could be a nice sumemr cocktail dress.

Cute for a party dress, wedding dress not so much.

She said this dress is for going to church, and a different dress for her ceremony. I don’t think most of us are too familiar with that tradition, if I’m understanding correctly. So you’re going to a church service first and then your ceremony will be later? If so, I think this dress is lovely and quite appropriate for church.

@anastasiag:indeed, it was my intention, afterwards i will wear it as a simple cocktail dress :). and yes, it is a kind of wedding dress, but you know, in my country they say that the dress you wear in church while wedding ceremony shouldn’t be worn by anybody else, so it has to be mine. and the wedding dress – i will try to resell it after the wedding. 🙂

@rolling berry: Thanks! I’d never heard of that tradition. I like it!
@anastasiag: In that case, I really like that dress!

So is this for the actual ceremony? or is it for church BEFORE the ceremony?
I think its very nice though..

its a lil too plain for me… you can wear the same dress for church and party… thats why i say spend a lil more.
