yay pockets!! they are a growing trend that I adore!! congrats on finding a beautiful gown that sports this often rejected and super functional design
I think that once you get it fitted it is going to be absolutely stunning! Is black on of your wedding colors? I know what you mean about way to long, I think I had to have mine taken up a foot, LOL.
Your dress is lovely! And my wedding dress had pockets (one of my requirements), and I loved them! They were such a cute feature. And I put them to get use - I stashed my cell phone (only because I needed to call DH to let him know when I arrived at our ceremony site so he could run down to our first look spot) and tissues in the pockets. I pulled out a tissue in the middle of my vows when I started crying - perfect!
@parasol: to be honest I didn't even know I wanted pockets untill I tried this one on, and I had no idea what I was going to put in my pockets, other than my cell phone (which seemed strange) but the tissue idea is brilliant. I promised myself and my friend who is doing my makeup that I wouldn't cry, but just incase.
I really like pockets with a wedding dress. It seems so fun to be able to stick your hand in a pocket for a picture. I agree that dress will look nice once it's fitted properly.
I love the idea of pockets on a dress, it is really fun! My dress doesn't have pockets. :(

I ordered the lace column wedding dress from the limited and it came in today!
I am not sure that I am in love with it, the sash is too dark,the top needs to be taken in, and it is about 3 feet too long, but.... it has pockets!!!
Really truely seriously? They makes wedding dresses with pockets!? I am in love!!! Is this normal? Its so awesome I can't even find a sun dress with pockets...What do you ladies think?
