My soon to be fiance and I will be paying for our entier wedding and as I have a daughter from my first marriage in private school, there isn't a great deal of "extra" income.
I found a dress that was on line through David's Bridal for under $200 and I was OK with it. It was a princess dress and it wasn't anything more then really a white dress with a veil.
So I did a Google search for Dresses under $200 and I found this site. Every dress on this site is equally as beautiful as any dress I have seen at David's Bridal or Alfred Angelo.
Check it out because I know that I will be trying on dresses and seeing what I like and then ordering off this site. Sure, I will still have to pay to have it altered, but it's still less then paying full price for the dress.
They also have veils, and the slips - velis are $30 and I think the slips are $50 or so. I am going to look for slips on ebay as most people don't really want to keep them once they have used them for the wedding.
:( I wish I would have found this before my wedding!!! I rented my dress because we didn't have a lot of money to spend and I didn't think I would want it after anyway. I'm kicking myself now becuase I wish I had my dress so much now that my wedding is over.
The dresses on this site are gorgeous! I'm quite jealous :)
