First off, you looked BEAUTIFUL!!

Second-time bride here too! Totally agree with all your mixed feelings about commitment and marriage and just being bf/gf for now, this time around. My SO did put a ring on my finger but I wasnʻt ready to call it an engagment so itʻs basically a promise ring until I am ready, heʻs ready like yesterday and I am getting there with each day. Last week we picked our venue and guestlist (yay!)

I am LOVING all the new sexy inbal dror, galia lahav, and Berta dresses, each one more stunning than the last! I almost donʻt wanna get married again in case i miss out on the PERFECT dress the season after I say I Do again.

The first time around I wore my grandmotherʻs dress which really broke my heart when my marriage collapsed. And I never got to dress shop or take engagment pictures so I feel sorta cheated out of the first-time-bride experience. My reception dress was a used one I ordered from a site and altered to fit, I ended up donating it to AngelGowns in honor of my friends who had suffered multiple losses that year. This time around I am definitely getting the dress I love with a very liberal budget.

That dress looks stunning on you! When I was waiting I came across this dress online and fell in love with everything about it! The not-totally-white/smokey undertones of the dress combined with how it flowed, it was just perfect! So when I became engaged I had to try it on! So I just bought this Wtoo by Watters gown last week!! 🙂 I don’t know if it’s a trend thing but I really love dresses that aren’t completely white, I find them super unique and fun 🙂

MargaritaVille :  YESSS!! efficient and “this is how itʻs done” perfectly describes my first time too like going through the motions. This time will definitely have the excitement, and genuine love I see in everyone elseʻs pictures and videos that my day so lacked. I wanna feel truly beautiful this time around. This first time I hated my hair, the flowers in my hair were taken off the utensil napkin with our hotel room service before the ceremony, the dresses were borrowed or his taste, not really mine. So this time, Iʻm going to feel beautiful and pampered on the day of. I wanna feel like a bride marrying the love of my life.

What I have learned just by “window-shopping” is that I am very picky… So basically I am doomed when it comes to that time. But its a ways off anyways 🙂

Generally when I find something I like (even if its only part of the dress) I pin it.

I love the colouring of this one and the back. Im not so crazy on the front though.

And this one I love the gradual transition to colour. And the features are very pretty. I don’t think I could pull it off with my body type though.

I totally feel you on the encore wedding push and pull. I would love to do it and marry the man I love; cant wait for him to put a ring on it. . . But if he doesn’t, I would be happy just loving him until we die. I keep going back and forth with want and wait- and, to your point, I have never stopped looking at rings or dresses or anything. My pinterest board, “TAKE 2” had been around for years…. Lol

I keep picturing myself in something like the dress below. My first wedding dress was in the days of color sashes so I had a floor length dress and my “train” was a bright red sash. God I loved that dress. And the red fishnets underneath, too! Lol

MargaritaVille :  Your dress looks amazing and so does your figure in it.

I know the actual offical proposal is coming up before the end of this year(hopefully). I always look at dresses in my free time still not sure if I should go with more of a traditional white dress or what I’ve always wanted which is a red dress.

I’m a second timer too. The first wedding I wasn’t at all interested in dresses and my mum kept remarking that I didn’t seem interested in getting married. I should have known that it wasn’t right then. I too wasn’t worried about marrying my OH this time round but now we’ve decided to take the plunge I’m getting the low key personal wedding I would’ve chosen first time round rather than the full on “wedding” wedding I had to please family. It feels much more “right” even though it’s not a text book wedding we’re planning. I think you just have to get what makes you feel amazing x

I’ll peek around on pinterest, but what makes it unbearable is the gorgeous little boutique bridal shop on my commute, and walking distance from my house. I am determined to not try anything on or go in until I’m actually engaged…but man do I ogle!

sweetaslemons :  that dress is VERY similar to the one my mom found for her vow renewal at TheRack by Nordstrom except in plum, it was GORGEOUS!

celestial :  I  am very tempted by black dresses this time around cuz the whole virgin thing is a super joke by now and itʻs much more our style than white.

All in all though, Pinterest is life. I pin ALL the new sexy dresses Iʻd die to try on and then search pre-owned sites for one close to my size.
