31 weeks and haven’t taken them off yet, but they’re not sliding around my fingers like they normally do. I’m hoping they stay like this and I don’t have to take them off!

I’m 36.5 weeks and still wearing my rings without any major problems. I have noticed a bit of swelling on hot days and when I got for long walks. I’m hoping to keep them on through delivery!

I think around 30 weeks I had to take off mine.

I had to take mine off around 21/22 weeks which I feel is much earlier than most people. Frown I wore them as long as I could and decided after our first anniversary that I just didn’t want to risk them getting stuck.  My SIL had her rings on the whole time but towards the end she was so swollen they were stuck.  They had to rush her for an emergency c-section.  I believe they put a glove over her hand but told her that they would normally have cut them off.  I didn’t want to risk mine having to be cut off so I took them off.

I can’t wait until I can wear them again though, I really do miss them.

I’ll be 32 weeks on Friday, and I had to take my wedding band off a little over a week ago (I don’t wear my e-ring). My hands have been swelling up just enough that it was getting uncomfortably tight and I was having too much trouble getting it off. I was not okay with the idea of possibly having to have it cut off, so I put it on a chain around my neck.

This is such a sad topic! My rings started getting tight at about 16 weeks and I officially had to take them off (took over an hour) at 18 weeks. I love going place and seeing people look at my finger and getting dirty stares from old woman 🙁

In my first pregnancy I took mine off at about 28 weeks and wore a sapphire ring that is a whole size bigger than my wedding set. This pregnancy I am 31 weeks now and my rings still fit comfortably.

I’ll be 35 weeks in a few days and I still haven’t taken them off. It’s been really hot up here lately and my fingers swell like crazy, but so far no issues with them being too tight or uncomfortable. Hopefully I’ll be able to make it through without having to take them off!

@Littlebean912- I know, I would die if they had to get cut off. I just started getting nervous because they were getting so tight, what if I really got them stuck. O well. And DH doesn’t wear a ring which makes it even worse! I keep nagging him to put his on whenever we go out so at least one of us had one on.

I haven’t had to cross that bridge yet. Then again, I’ve just recently started my second trimester. I’m thinking when/if I’m no longer able to wear my ring on my finger due to swelling, I’ll either wear it around my neck on a necklace (simple gold chain) that I’ve worn nearly every day since FI (boyfriend at the time) gave it to me in October or get the same model of ring in a bigger size.

Mine were already getting tight at 16 weeks so I gave in and switched to a ring I can wear on another finger.  I’ve already hit hubby up for a pregnancy/push ring!  LOL

One time I was in Target and there was a VERY pregnant lady with her husband. He had a ring on, she didnt have hers. They were in the jewelry section and she said, “Can you please get me a fake ring to wear until this is over?” He laughed and got her a plain silver band in a bigger size. I felt like a creeper for watching this, but I also thought it was adorable!
