Me thinks he worries too much. People love to socialize at weddings. If they are not dancing they will be mixing and mingling with the other guests.

@julies1949: I agree. I don’t think guests really need to be entertained. You provide music and an opportunity to dance, if they don’t like that then they mingle. Thats what people do at weddings and they aren’t usually bored. There is usually lots of catching up between friends and family members.

I agree, dancing a mingling should be enough. My FI wants a contact juggler for the cocktail hour, but i think the guests will be entertained without it. I dont see why you cant have croquet just in case
