WEDDING EVENING GOWN???

Is anybody going to change and wear an evening gown for the reception? I am looking for what to wear but I'm not really sure where to start. Should it be long or can short dresses appropriate? What color is good?

Please help me to find a good evening gown to wear. Thank you!

Try looking at dresses by Sean Collection. They have them at Macy's, Bloomingdales, etc. They are long evening gowns and they have many that are appropriate for a reception, and most are around $250. They also have a website: http://www.seancollection.com/

I'm thinking about doing that after the ceremony. I have some snazzy Louboutins I want to show off and if I have a long dress for the ceremony they might not show too much! Besides, my wedding is in FL and I am going to be hot in a long gown. If I can find a relatively cheap wedding dress, I am definitely going to get a dress for the reception as well! And short dresses are definitely appropriate if your wedding isn't black or white tie! I'm going to try to find a calf or just above the knee length white dress for the reception. I think white/ivory/champagne is definitely the way to go for your reception dress--you still want to stand out as the bride!

Nordstrom.com has some good stuff, and like the above poster said, Macy's and Bloomingdales. Check out all the major department store sites--the ones mentioned already, Dillards, Saks, Neimans, Barneys, etc. Really it just depends on how much you want to spend.
