@hautebride: Glass isn't prohibited, gels and liquids more than 4oz are prohibited from carryons.
Also, whatever you were going to put in glass, you could put in plastic instead.

I'm in a bit of a pickle!
I was set on making wedding favors that incorporated glass jars in some way - either a homemade spice rub, peach jam, etc. However, it just occured to me that we may have a significant amount of guests from out of town who will be flying to attend our wedding.
Is glass prohibited from planes in your carry ons - anyone know?
If they are, I need some other favor alternatives. Something that's still on the more physically "substantial" side, and still creative and personalized. Any ideas?
