I think those are so cute!  I would love to receive this if I was a guest at your wedding!  Go for it.

@razeldazel88:  I think they’re super cute, plus the only wedding favors I ever like are edible ones lol.  I actually make dipped pretzels, just not as fancy, but they weren’t too bad to make.  I made mine a week ahead of time and kept them in vacuum sealed bags.

My sweet grandparents have several peach, pear, fig, and apple trees in their yard so I came up with the idea for her to make homemade preserve favors for our wedding. Sans me buying the jars which are only .40 cents a piece they are free!! Plus I love the personal touch it brings and it incorporated my sweet granny. They’ll be something like this…

Those are really cute!  I rarely see guests turn down edible favors.  I certainly wouldn’t.

These are cute!  I always take favors that are food 🙂 But, be forwarned, they are not easy.  I do caramel covered pretzel rods with sprinkles or chocolate chips.  And, they aren’t always the prettiest.  I would suggest making sure you do some test ones early.  You may even be able to start these pretty early and put them in the freezer too so you aren’t struggling to do them all close to the wedding date.

Consumable/edible favors are the only way to go IMO.

And I’d totally dig into the pretzels!

@razeldazel88:  I think those are awesome!! I would love to receive that a a favour at a wedding. I think you can’t really go wrong with food favours – I made over 500 cookies for my favours 🙂

It’s the trinkety things that tend to get left behind, in my opinion, because there was not a package of my cookies left at the end of the night!! 🙂

@razeldazel88:  i would do this if I had the time. But we had 177 guests, and I wasn’t about to stress myself out making edible favors. LoL
