That sounds like a lovely idea. Could you have a choice of sachets? Like coffee, tea, decaf choices and hot chocolate. The mugs are a fab idea. I know of some online card places that can print mugs for you. If you’re okay with the DIY then go for it!

Skip the mugs. It will save you time and money and honestly only your mum and nan will want to hold onto a mug with your monogram on it. Just make up hot chocolate kits without the mugs if you want to give something to the guests.

I would probably do a slightly bigger hot chocolate kit without the mug… Those are pretty expensive!

@BabyBrain:  Great! I’m actually jealous, I’d love to DIY but I’m just rubbish at it! If it helps you chill and have a wedding project to do. Good luck with your favours.

Cute idea. I would be inclined to have a mug with a picture of a heart or something rather than your wedding date and ititials etc. A cute mug with a heart on, or two birds or something I would keep and use more than a monogramed mug. Love the hot chocolate idea though, mini marshmallows, maybe chocolate sprinkes. x

@BabyBrain:  I think the mugs sound cute and I would love a hot chocolate kit, however, I’m not sure I would use a mug with someone else’s monogram on it. I would be more likely to keep it if there was some other kind of design on it.

I too say skip the mugs. Maybe do a hot chocolate and a smore kit? I went to a wedding where the bride DIY smore kits and they were quite cute and easy to make!

@BabyBrain:  I think those mugs are cute. Won’t it be expensive to do mugs and a hot chocolate kit for each person though? If it were me, I would do one of the bird mugs, hot choc kit and then just create a nice tag saying thank you, with the dates and initials on if you wanted to keep that idea. x

@BabyBrain:  Ok that’s cool. If you did that and I was a guest, I would a) use the hot chocolate pack, b) use the mug A LOT c) probably keep the tag with the date etc as a keepsake. Win win win. No waste at all, nothing to throw away.
