So I know all of you ladies are doing your own little things to stay in shape for your big day.  I am personally doing a triathlon training course two days a week.  Since the big question I have also started doing sit ups and push ups before I go to bed to tone the abs.

    What are you guys doing?

I was being trained by a personal trainer 2 times a week leading up to my wedding.  It was great to give me a full body workout in the little off time I had.

Right now I'm doing C25K and upper body strength training, along with watching what I eat.

Starting in June I'm training to run my first ever half marathon in September!

@babyboo good luck!!!  I ran my first half last September and it was the best feeling/accomplishment ever

I am going to run another half in September and plan to bump up my training a bit more in the 4 months before the wedding.  I'm also on week 2 of the 100 pushup challenge and I have never been so sore in my life lol.  I don't know if I will get a personal trainer because I don't know if it is in the budget yet.  I am interested in the p90x cds but those seem pricey too!  Group classes will probably be the answer at that point!

Thanks! It's the Disneyland Half Marathon so it should be super fun! Also I already paid the $120 registration fee so that alone is motivation to train hard ;)

Good luck with the 100 push-up challenge, that sounds intense!!

I'm on phase 3 of 30 day shred and i alternate it with c25k (about to complete my 2nd week)..  and we do (my FH and I.. he doesn't need to exercise. he just cuts out the soda and junk food and he's great) a 5k once a week :) dieting is my weakness though.. i love food.. no wonder i only lost 3lbs. :/

Great ideas ladies and good luck with them all.  I am not sure that I could hold on strong to the 100 push up challenge.  I also just decided that I am going to do a charity run for the Special Olympics.  I will be doing my first ever marathon and trying to earn money for a good cause.  My main goal is to drop the pounds before July since that is when I am buying the dress then to stay steady after that.

I'm interested in starting the c25k program. I've seen 2 different versions on line and not sure which one is the real-deal. Can someone send me a link to the one you all use?

I have another year left of school, so I plan on taking PE classes to keep me active at least twice a week during my super busy student teaching schedule! Plus, I've started the 30-day shred and with summer coming up, I'm planning on hiking in the hills around my town. I did one hike last week and was sore for days!

Seeing a personal trainer once a month (In a group format with 3 of us). and then training with the girls three times a week meanwhile. It's really great that I have people to help keep me motivated.

I run primarily. I trained for and ran my first 10k a few weeks ago. Now I'm a little lost as to what I should be doing running-wise - post-wedding I'm going to train for a half in September (a popular time for half-marathons, apparently!). Right now I run a few times a week; I try to do some speedwork during the week, maybe a 3-4 mile run, and then a longer run on the weekends. I do yoga once a week (highly recommended - I run with fewer injuries and my core feels stronger, which helps with running too) and I do an intense circuit-training class once a week. I aim for 6 days of exercise.

Oh yeah, I just finished week 1 of the 100 pushups challenge too! We do a ton of pushups in the circuit class (and I SUCK at them!) and I'm already seeing a difference in my ability to keep up with that part.

I just joined a gym and have my orientation session tomorrow morning, so hopefully she'll tell me what I need to do!  I plan to do cardio 4-5 days a week, a few days of strength and maybe a class.  i'm also doing Weight Watchers to lose weight.

I'd love to do a half marathon but the Boston Half Marathon is the day OF my wedding this year.  No can do :)
