Houston bees –
I am getting married in the Woodlands and have a $400 flower budget. I am thinking of just getting bridal/bridesmaid bouquets, a few corsages and an arrangement. I have heard this is possible, but am nervous about what to expect when meeting with florists in the Woodlands (the Woodlands is a pretty affluent, ahem, marked up, area in general). I am checking out The Blooming Idea but have a feeling they have a high price tag. Does anyone know of any cost-efficient vendors for flowers in the North Houston area? I thought of doing my own flowers but my mom just won’t have it… but I would rather not stress so I am trying to see if it’s feasible.
Any help/guidance would be AWESOME!

@mrsflores14: Hello! I am using The Blooming Idea – they recenetly merged with C&M Floral ( or something along those lines). When I went in they asked for my budget and worked to accomodate it. My thought is they will try and do the same with you! I also checked out Rainforest Flowers as well as Top Florist. They were both less expensive than The Blooming Idea, BUT I thought Mary and the Blooming Idea was more professional/responsive/etc. I know HEB also does wedding flowers, so that’s an options as well! 🙂

We are using HEB Blooms for my daughters wedding. Their stuff was fabulous at the bridal extravaganza. We have a little bit bigger budget but their quote still came in under budget. They have some of the most beautiful quality flowers I have ever seen. Big and fresh. I think we will be getting more for our money than at a regular florist. They do charge a delivery/set up fee, but I think most florists do. If you pick them up, you can save that too. Not much to see on the website, but worth a trip to the store to check it out. Make sure it is a HEB Blooms location. Good Luck!
