I found some wedding bouquets made up of silk hydrangeas and broaches. A lady in my city is selling them after her wedding…6 bridesmaid bouquets and 1 bridal for $200.00!
I was going to DIY from costco flowers but i was worried about having enough time to make the bouquets and boutonnieres…if i am able to buy these flowers from this lady Id still have to dIY the boutonnieres. Has anyone used grocery store roses to make boutonierres and had success?

@Tallulah_: I think you could totally DIY boutonnieres – from what i understand, they shouldn’t be too difficult (I watched my sister make boutonnieres with her friends for her hs prom)! Go to Costco or Sams Club for flowers! 🙂

@Tallulah_: yes bouts are insanely easy…even to so them looking very nice.I could never pay for someone else to do them unless it was a supply issue or a lot cheaper than what florists charge
I have done a few and only with grocery store flowers, though Id suggest whole foods or trader Jo’s if you have…they tend to their flowers a bit better

That’s a good deal. I don’t know what the silk flowers look like but if they look great, why not? If you aren’t thrilled with them, then go with the real flowers. Grocery stores can have really nice flowers.
