how do other bees do their own wedding flowers?
and what flowers do you think are good for beach weddings?
I dont really know much about flowers,, i am not that picky either and i like flowers as long as they look good and natural! ( i prefer naturally hand tied ones to fully arranged perfect ones..) and im a very petite bride ( 5’1 or so) in a sort of semi A -line or empire line wedding dress…
I originally wanted to do DIY type of wedding flowers, hoping to visit a local flower market and get a LOT of flowers and put them here and there in a lot of vases around the venue n reception area, and making my own small natural bouquet,, however i have figured it might be either too busy or difficult.. and the nearest flower market around the location is 2.5 hr away! and we go there 2 days before the wedding (which means we should go there 2 days before the wedding, get the flowers, and keep them at home for 2 days!! is it possible to keep them fresh for 2 days?? )
I didnt have any idea and was just thinking mm roses or peonys? and recently figured out peony is not in season at that time and roses will be expensive then..
i was thinking of creamy-pinky-peachy color pallette but does it go well with beach weddings? and when consulting the florist, i felt i m limiting her ideas/ boundary of ideas by picking up a certain color pallette.. mm i might be wrong tho…
in short, im totally clueless here and could anyone plz give me any advice?
ps. the florist quote me $200 for a bouquet(including roses), or $180(lily n others) , and if i add more it will be so much more..so im more inclined to DIY option if that is feasible….
