DIY flowers is a lot easier than it seems – depending on the flowers. I bought in bulk from sams club and i paid about $160 for 200 roses. Much cheaper than a florist.

I was looking through sams clubs bulk floral and they have a pretty neat tropical section.

i love these – http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=199942′ defer=’defer

here are their options for roses http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/category.jsp?categoryId=1243&altQuery=&rootDimension=1001243&navAction=push’ defer=’defer

Lillies may be agreat choice also they have some really beautiful colors http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/category.jsp?categoryId=1244&altQuery=&rootDimension=1001244&navAction=push’ defer=’defer

Feel free to PM me if you have questions about DIY flowers – i can give you som pointers.

i think cream and peach would be great for a beach wedding though i always find myself drawn to more bold/tropical colors like orange, yellow, and bright pinks – even a nice aqua blue or teal.

I love the peach/cream/pink colors for a beach wedding and any florist worth her weight won’t be limitted by that color pallette! I would suggest small orchids, they look great in hand tide and hold up surprizingly well!

If you decide to go the DIY route. You can keep flowers fresh by keeping them inside the fridge in a bit of water.
