I’m just starting out on picking a florist for my wedding. Since my venue includes centerpieces, I will only be looking for loose rose pedals, the bride & bridesmaids bouquet and the boutonnieres.
How much do those items usually start off at in terms of price. I feel like if I know some pricing before I have these appointments I will know if I’m being over charged.
Also, can anyone recommend a good but affordable florist in the North or Central NJ area?

@SM_xo: This florist was highly recommended to us but I haven’t contacted her yet – so can’t help with prices.

@SM_xo: I have only gotten 2 quotes:
1 from a florist that is doing our “free” centerpieces at our reception in Eastern PA
=$487 with tax – this is very low for a florist from what I’ve seen
2nd quote was from Whole Foods in Princeton, NJ
=$310 no delivery, not including tax, includes 20% charge for making bouquets instead of us tying them ourselves
Flowers aren’t at the top of our budget list so we were looking at less than $500

@SM_xo: I highly recommend Dee’s Florist in North Brunswick. Their prices are very reasonable, bridesmaids bouquets are around $75, but they are not low quality, I’m talking FULL beautiful bouquets…my family has used them for multiple weddings and functions.
