So excited that my flower project turned out really good. And it only took about 12 combined hours to complete. ( I spread out over a week)
I bought 20 of the $1.99 corsages on clearance, added some color for my groomsmen/ushers. I also added a few more accessories and made them corsages, and boutenierres. They were nice as is, but they were a little bland. I cut some of the plastic leaves off and replaced with purple.
I bought the bridesmaids bouquets for ($11/each on Afloral). I went to Hobby Lobby bought cream roses on their 50% week ($1/each) added them to the bouquets along with purple ribbon and pearl pins.
The idea of doing my bouquet made me a little nervous, but I just threw caution to the wind, and suprisingly did a pretty ok job. I order 2 bouquets from Afloral. I added mint green roses and cream roses. I spent a little more for the real touch flowers to give it a more alive look. I used a few flowers from my bouquet to make a matching groom flower. He wanted something very simple and it cordinates with me. Yay!
Lastly my toss bouquet was made from a Walmart bridal bouquest $15.00. I bought 1- bunch of small purple flowers (cut it apart) , glued them in the center of this bouquet to make it purple and white and viola.
2 bride bouquets
for $300 or less. Afloral & Hobby Lobby helped me work wonders. 1 thing down, 99 more left to go!!
