I ordered him a grooms cake that will be his 'wedding' gift. I know it doesn't seem sweet...but in the shape of a black mustang (our get away car). I think he will be super excited to see it
I am doing a mountain bike for him - he has been wanting one forever! I will get him a helmet and bike lock and then tell him he can pick one out with me after the honeymoon. I will do something about it as a symbol of our adventures yet to come.
Nothing other than a card. We decided we were spending enough money and would do something special for our first anniversary. The present is the wedding, the rings, the memories, the photographs. I think if I were to look back in 20 years I wouldnt remember what he got me anyway, even if it was something ever-lasting. I would remember the day in general, the vows and the people there.
My plan is to write out 365 reasons why I love him and put them all in a jar for him to take one out every night for a year. I got the idea from someone on here and I'm so sorry I can't give them the proper credit!

I got my guy a fossil of two fish, but I was so excited about it I couldn't wait and gave it to him as a "T minus 1" gift. I like this shrimp fossil though. Might start a collection :)
I so need help on this! I've been racking my brain, but FI is very hard to shop for. He already has a nice Movado watch but he wears a cheap running watch instead. I was think of getting him an upgraded sports watch or a swimsuit and rash guard since he's so excited for our honeymoon to Tahiti. Any other ideas? I'm really stumped!
A watch is the popular choice, but I got him a Michael Kors watch a couple years ago for Christmas. I suppose I could get him another one? He has a few that need replacing.
I was browsing online for swim stuff and I thought about also getting those Lands Ends boat totes. We could bring them on our honeymoon and I could monogram them. Might be cute, right?
FI has hinted he'd like a nice watch.
He's getting a card, and he has a birthday literally a month after, soooooo.....
lefeymw - thats exactly how we feel and decided not to give gifts. Lord knows the several thousands we are spending is more than enough for me, and him too. BUT, since I am such the romantic, and knowing how sentimental he is, knowing he is going to cry/tear up, whatever, I had a beautiful handkerchief embroidered with a very sweet romantic saying on it with my name and our wedding date and I am going to have my MOH deliver it to him while Im locked away waiting for the ceremony to start. Its not a huge fancy expensive gift, but i know he will cherish it all the same. (and i might need to borrow it while standing at the altar myself bawling)
I'm stumped as well... so I'm glad you posted this! Keep the ideas coming ladies!!! I think I know what FI is planing on getting me (a scuba diving camera) since we are getting certified this month. I want to get him something equally extravagent and have no idea!!!!!
His grooms cake will be his gift, which is a Corpse Bride wedding cake. He really wanted this as our wedding cake, but it would not fit our bright orange and green wedding! So I think he will be super excited to see it!
We got his and her watch from Cartier to match our wedding bands.
Although he doesn't wear them most of the times, he loves it.
For you, if you guys like to snorkel, how about waterproof digital camera?
Pin up/ boudior photos are my plan. I bought a groupon, now i just need to be brave.

I'm not sure what I'm going to get my FI yet. I want to get him something personal. We still have to narrow down that part of the budgeth though so that will help with choices a bit.
I bought him a Coach wallet today that he picked out, so it's not a surprise...the other 2 gifts are
Custom cufflinks (vintage maps with our wedding city and city where we'll live after the wedding)
Groom's cake with custom topper - the design is going to be a surprise for him as well
This is what I booked for my FI. I booked a limo to take us to the raceway and I won't tell him until we get there. I am so excited and can't wait to see his face : )

I am also getting him this awesome flask...
I'm also getting him Buidoir pics cause my sis does them :) We didn't want to spend to much money and wanted the gifts to be more sentimental. Its gonna be fun :)
