Hey fellow bees..
Does anyone have some unique gift ideas? We have 2 bridesmaids, 2 groomsmen and then our parents. I know the standard gift ideas (flasks, totes etc) but I was trying to find things a bit more out of the box. We are thinking maybe cuff links and engraved knives for the men but I’m stuck on the ladies….
We are looking at spending around $50/person.

What is your budget? That might make it easier to be helpful.
Also, since you have such a small bridal party, I’m guessing that you could do a more individualized gift based on their actual tastes.

@sbruin99: Do the men wear dress shirts with cuffs to need a pair of cufflinks?

I know someone who gave wooden handle hatchets with leather covers on the top covering the blade, and they also wood – burned (like engraving but at the bottom of the wooden handle) their initials plus a cool symbol. The guys loved them.they were really nice looking hatchets, cost about $100 each. At first i wasn’t going to suggest it but then saw you are in Alberta and thought it’d be perfect! I’ll pm you a pic later today.

@rosiedee: Haha, that is true. I edited my post. We are thinking around $50.
@julies1949: that’s why I wasn’t really sold on it and hoping for a better idea… they do sometimes but not often
@Kazza: that is an awesome idea! A little more than we wanted to spend but we do have room to play a bit…

@sbruin99: What about an inexpensive charm bracelet for the bridesmaids? Like tailored to her personal tastes? I think some places have the bracelets and charms for pretty cheap.

Just shop for them like it’s their birthdays. If you’ve got a bridesmaid who loves a particular sports team, get her a jersey. A home brewing kit for a GM who loves fancy beer.

@Horseradish: I’m a girl, and I would LOVE a homebrew kit! 😀
OP, I guess gifts depend on what people like…
If they like to cook, a new cookbook and a cool gadget might be nice. Or some gourmet ingredients.
I received a pair of these for Christmas, and all of my housemates were jealous…Maybe combine those with a nice fluffy robe and a note saying ‘thanks for your help, now take it easy!
Maybe a tea or coffee set if that is what they like (or a nice whiskey/glass set)?

I second shopping for everyone individually. They’re much more likely to enjoy and use something that was picked out personally for them. I got my girls some jewelry that I picked out for them (3 bracelets, 1 necklace).

A third for shopping for them individually.
