I don't think so. FI loved this watch and so I bought it for him. He will wear his. I asked for this ring that I'm sure I'm getting that I'm not going to wear on that day. It's black diamonds and it's pretty big. Maybe I will slide it on at the reception?
I don't think you have to wear them on your actual wedding day. I'm pretty sure FI is getting me a necklace and I don't plan on wearing one with my dress.
you definitely don't have to buy something that you wear on the wedding day! if it's something you want, go for it. i would love something that i could wear daily and remember my wedding day by.
@mwitter80: Thanks! The watch that he loves would look amazing with his tux. It is all black and he is wearing a grey tux. I am pretty sure he would wear it on our wedding day if I brought it for him.
No way! I’m getting FI a pair of Beats by Dre headphones that he’s been drooling over for months (they’re very expensive and he feels bad spending that much money on headphones). He will absolutely, positively, no way in friggin hell be wearing those on our wedding day, lol.

Not at all! I got a beautiful diamond necklace that I didn't wear on my wedding day and DH got a portable DVD player (which he obviously didn't use on our wedding day :-P)

FH and I saw a pair of watches this past weekend. We were thinking about getting them for each other as wedding gifts, but I do not plan to wear a watch for the wedding. Do we have to give each other gifts that we can only wear or use on the wedding day?
