Hi, I purchased a used wedding dress for my wedding that was suppossed to occur this year but now it has been pushed back. The dress was originally purchased in 2008, then preserved, and sold to me. I am the second owner. Now my wedding has been pushed back a year, at least, do you think I need to “preserve” it for a year? It only has one small light butter colored stain that I guess the original preservation company couldnt get out and my alterations shop couldn’t get it out either, but I didn’t care. They suggested just storing it properly and that I don’t need to preserve it since my wedding is in a year, maybe two years. What do you think? I LOVE the dress. It is an Ysa Makino dress and looks like silk material, but it is actually polyester and it has a lot of beads on it. I want to make sure nothing happens to it. Also, what about my veil, what do you suggest? Thanks!
