How do you handle it when you don’t want certain people at your wedding??? There are a few people that are old co-workers and friends of friends that I do not want attending our wedding as guests. One in particular is a very heavy drinker and always makes a scene if large crowds. Every time we see her she implies that she is either invited or will come as a guest of one of the groomsmen when we casually say that we have a large guest list due to family. What is the most appropriate way to get the word out that we do not want her attending as someone’s plus one?
Also (an even toucher subject), my 66 year old father wants to bring his 32 year old girlfriend. She is the same age as my fiance…enough said. I’m hoping that in a year when it’s time for the wedding she will be gone and we won’t have to worry about, but I figure I should be prepared. He’s not paying for the wedding, we are paying for everything ourselves.
All the things you have to think of at times like this… 🙁
