my hair looks best all down with a few strands angled back around my forehead, but everyones face shape reacts differently, I would talk to your hair stylist and photographer they will have experience on what would look best with your specific figure and how to best show off that pretty face

its hard to see the full hair in this pic but I blow dried everything with a large round brush for volume then curled everything from the chin down (everything except the top layer of my hair to keep it from looking promish) and pulled my fingers through the curls to separate them a little.

My  hair is very fine, and I have a round face so I don’t feel wearing it down is flattering at all.  I get many more compliments when I wear it up.  I am going to wear a low, side, loose bun around the level of my chin with the hair drooping down to just brush my shoulder.  When it’s higher up and hear my ear, it widens my face since that is the broadest part to begin with.  It will be a “soft” style – loose waves – and have some height on the top to lengthen my face as well.   Besides, I sweat a lot when I dance and the thought of wearing my hair down or half up-half down (my second choice for hair style) makes me get hot.  lol

I would look around for styles you like and try them all out.  Just because you are full figured does not mean you can’t wear an up do or your hair down or any style that you like.   Once you see them come together you’ll know which you prefer.  Good luck!
