@DIYyoungbride:  ….uhhhhh, I’d suggest you either go back to that venue on your knees and apologize and ask if they’ll cancel the cancellation…or find someone with a big house and a nice back yard…..

Try local parks and the local German American Society or Italian American Society or Greek Society.  Any garden societies or local community centers?

Maybe the Boat Club?

I would call everyone to see what’s available this late in the game.  Since it’s a Sunday you may find something but two weeks out is going to be tough.  Lots of Holiday Inns, maybe one will be desperate for Sunday night business.

Could you rent a tent and have your reception on a public beach for free? 

And maybe offer some umbrellas for shade? Or even battery operated fans/paper fans.

Im sure your guests will be just fine! Theyre there for you!
