Which wedding invitation do you prefer?
The first kind of invitation is a fully custumized invitation, starting from a painting. You can choose how you look like on the inviation (and your husband), add some bridesmaids or children,…
The second invitation is a standard invitation. I like the fact that it’s modern and very stylish, but it’s standard. It’s white pearly paper and the inner paper is shiny silver. On the pouch there is a little ‘diamond’ and a few sparkles. It reminds me of the pleats in a wedding dress.
The price of both invitationis is nearly the same and with the first you yet your little painting.
Do you think the first invitation is childish?

I don’t think it’s childish… but more casual — so what is your wedding going to be? Casual or formal? I think that will give you your answer to which invite.

I like them both. I would chose the second one if you’re having a formal wedding. If the wedding is a little more relaxed the first one would be great.

I honestly think there are other -in-between- options you could look at. These are like polar opposites. If you made a list with your season, wedding colors, theme/feel of your wedding I think the bees could help you find something in your price range.
If you are having this much trouble deciding it might be a reason to keep looking.

I am going to assume that you have 2 children because they are on the invitations. I think the first one is nice because it includes your whole family on it.

What’s the feel of your wedding? These are on opposite ends of the spectrum so its hard to vote without knowing what kind of look you’re going for with everything else.

Thanks for the replies.
We don’t have a theme, we don’t have wedding colors. But I do have 4 little children, all girls. I like both invitation and don’t want to choose anything else. (I have been looking enough and this will be it).
What is formal and what is casual? I will be wearing a classic weddingdress and my husband to be will be wearing a nice suit. We don’t have bridesmaids, but 4 little flowergirls (my dauughters). We will be having our reception and dinner and party in a classic venue, but food will not be served with with gloves! All food, except the dessert will be served at the table.
Here in Belgium, wedding invitations aren’t that classic as in USA,… I think. Here we don’t have pocketfolds, etc. Letterpress is just the beginning. I’m stunned to see the invitations here; they are so elaborate. I have seen many ugly invitations also; people printing them themselves and no quality. This is not the case with my invitations.
I really don’t want to spend too much on wedding invitations. Maximum 4 euro printed and ready.
Concerning the custumized wedding invitation, I think it’s so sweat and nice; it’s nothing you have ever seen before and it’s unique. The woman who makes these invitations also makes memory boxes with the painting of the invitation and she also makes the wedding favors, so everything has got the same design (and I don’t have to look no further for the wedding favors). She also makes birth announcements and they ar also very sweet.
And I still like the other invitation also.
I’m posting other examples.

I really like them both but I voted for the painted one, it is so cute! And I love the idea that that is an image you can keep for ever for what seems like a really good price.
I think the painted one is perfect for almost any kind of wedding, you are going to have children I’m sure it isn’t overly fine-dining.
The colours are beautiful.

And this will be the venue (haven’t made up my mind between these two):
