Wedding Invitation: Wedding Day Timeline/Itinerary Insert?

I’m faily obseesive about knowing times, so yes I would very much like to have this. At most weddings I’ve been to I never really knew what was coming up next and when it would be, which bothered me. There is a very good possibility that its just me though.

Unless your event isn’t following a normal progression, I think this is overkill. The ceremony start time is already on the invitation. If the cocktail hour starts soon after the ceremony ends and then flows logically into the dinner reception, why do you need to explicitly share this information?

The only con I can see is that it may make some people more inclined to just show up for certain events – like, book it after cocktail hour, or skip the ceremony but show up for cake. People can and might do that anyway, but perhaps you get get the timelines printed  (if it’s a good deal with your invitation suite) and have them passed out along with programs the day-of?
