For all of you DIY’ers out there, you should check out etsy.com for some really incredible designs. Most shops (like mine! peacockprinting.etsy.com!) will sell you digital files so you can print them yourself at home – if you are planning on using a kit from a big box store, it’s usually about the same price to buy a digital file from a real struggling artist and this way they can truly be customized to your wedding! No more being forced to settle for the only green invitations Michaels carries!
You will also most likely have access to a wider variety of fonts and graphics that you would have on your own home computer, and you won’t have to spend hours fruitlessly searching for graphics online that will just come out fuzzy because you don’t have your own graphic design software, or having to pay top dollar to download an image from a website like Shutterstock.
