Hi, DC/NOVA/MD brides!
Have any of you had any luck working with printers or invitation companies in the DMV?
My fiance and I have a good idea of what we want, we just need someone to help execute the design from my basic word template! 🙂 I’m curious if anyone has had any luck working with a particular stationer or printer in this area?
We originally thought about ordering from WPD or Shine invitations, but I think it’d be nice to help out a local business. It’ll also be nice to work with someone one on one in case we have requested revisions.
What are you doing, and/or who are you working with for your invites and paper needs?

BridalBlossom: I am planning to use someone online, however – I know someone who used Dandelion Patch here in DC and loved them.

I’m a graphic designer and have been working with a company I’ve used professionally for years to print them, Webb Mason.

We’re actually going with someone I found on Etsy, but we visited Old City Press & Co in store and liked their selection. They also do custom work.

Lilybelt: ela0919: Great suggestions! My fiance and I ended up having luck with pear tree greetings… There was a flash sale with some of their invitation designs, and we scored the suite for 60% off. We didn’t like the invite as it was advertised, but once we added our color scheme, it turned out quite nice!
We liked old city press & co, too! We considered using them, but then decided we would try to save a bit budget-wise with the invitations. I also really liked some of the stuff from EdenWeddingStudio (and a handful of other print yourself invites) on Etsy.
