- Wedding: June 2014
So I am really hoping to get some opinions on this.
My fiance and I are having somewhat of a destination wedding that is 3 hours away in a nice summer vacation town. I have the space to invite quite a few of my co-workers. I have approximately a group of 20 co-workers, however, I am really only close with about 8 of them and I have only been at my current job for a year. I talk to everyone but the group that I am closest too I have lunch with and chat with about personal life more. Initially, I was just planning to invite those that I am a bit closer with. After thinking about it though, I don’t want anyone to be offended. If my wedding was local I would probably just invite everyone but I feel that most people (even those I am closer with) wouldn’t be able to come anyways due to the distance and I feel strange inviting them to a distant wedding.
Any thoughts on the best way to handle this?
Thanks so much for any advice!
