We put:

The pleasure of your company is requested at the marriage of 

FirstNAME LastNAME

to

FirstNAME LastNAME

Ours says “my name and his name invite you to join them in celebration of their marriage”…

I think the only reason it doesn’t look too plain at the top is because we have a nice little design above our names.

Huh? Already married. So you are hosting just a celebration or a vow renewal?  Woman’s name goes first. Depending on the invite style you may not even need to add your last name. Minkcards.com has my fav modern deaigns.
