- Wedding: June 2013
Ugh, what a mess! Our very nice hand made invites are out but we just had to change our wedding date 🙁 We moved it from Friday June 6th to Saturday June 7th. My venue was actually closed due to permit issues but the board approved Saturday weddings…
I’m going to send a card or note letting my guests know about the changes. Any suggestions on the best way to tell them/what I should write and how should they RSVP; 90% of ppl still havent sent back the RSVP.
The date changed to 6/7
The ceremony time changed from 5pm to 4pm
and ppl have to park at an off site parking location (Local Antique Mall) and get shuttled in. They had a lot of neighbors complain about ppl drinking and then driving near their homes. The venue is in the process of appealing their decision but the board allowed them to have (May and June) weddings if they had off site parking.
What time should I tell people to arrive at the off site parking location? It’s about a 10 min drive and she is going to have 2 shuttles. I was thinking around 3:15? Im only having about 70 guests.
I was thinking about having them RSVP by phone, email or send the RSVP that they have and just put our new wedding date on there, that way Im certain they are aware of the change.
Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated. My brain is fried!
