MuseForever:  Um nope…the bridal shops aren’t shitting you. You better order now. Mine took 9 months to arrive.

I ordered my gown 13 months before my wedding date (September 2013), and it just arrived this week!!!  Definitely get down to business, girl!

MuseForever:  Now’s the time. The longer you wait, the less choices you’ll have and if you wait too long, you’ll more than likely have to buy off the rack.

MuseForever:  Ordering a dress can take anywhere from 4-6+ months to come in – depending on the designer. If I were you I would order ASAP! You could always order a size smaller or just have it altered.

Now’s the time to order unless you buy one off the rack…

MuseForever:  Order now and order for the size you are not what you hope to be. I hoped to lose weight before my wedding in 3 months and I’ll be lucky if I lost 10lbs.

MuseForever:  NOW! I ordered mine in OCT and got it in March

And you will need time to do alterations! I brought my dress in to get altered July 12, did a second fitting Auigh 12, and I go back 8/30 ( wedding is second week in Sept) so give yourself plenty of time for alterations they do take a month or so!

Order now in your current size. It’s much easier to take a dress in a size or two vs let a dress out.

If you plan on getting a new dress, you need to order ASAP (my dress took over 6 months and then another month of alterations). You can alsways get your dress altered down a few sizes. If you plan on wearing one off the rack then of course you have time.

1) Order NOW

2) Order in your current size

I know I was in the same position. From the bridal salon it took over 6 months and you need about a month for alterations. Most dresses are made so they can be taken in a few sizes.

MuseForever:  It depends on the designer and the dress- Some don’t take that long but some take like 9 months!

I would start shopping now- I think you want at least 2 ( 3 mo ) is better wiggle room from the delivery date for alterations/if anything goes wrong with the dress. Good luck!!!
