I use this white tube with a green cap at target. It’s target brand up and up acne cream for about $2 and seems to work pretty quick!! Overnight sometimes!!! But I’m no acne expert. hope I helped.

MilaBeth:  I would try a paste of baking soda and water, put that on them for about 15 minutes, it usually dries them out pretty quickly, especially if they’re small.  Do you have  MUA?  If you do, I would contact them and ask what their opinion is.

It’s probably stress related. I would use some spot treatment a few times throughout the day- most treatments have salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide- and wash your face good before going to bed. As long as they stay small you should be able to cover up the redness with makeup tomorrow. Just DON’T pop them or they’ll get red and swollen and maybe scab. I would avoid heavy makeup and lotion today and try to touch your face as little as possible to avoid spreading oils. Be careful not to overtreat as well, you don’t want to dry out your skin.

Baking soda and water paste works great. Something even better is crushed up Bayer aspirin (or any white regular aspirin) with a bit of water to make a paste. The aspirin is anti-inflammatory and will decrease redness and shrink the size. I swear by this!! DO NOT POP THEM OR PICK

Okay, this is going to sound odd, but I read this the other day.  It won’t cure your breakout over night, but if definitely reduces redness and swelling.  Cut open an Advil Liqui gel and rub the liquid on your zit.  I did this recently and it worked like a charm.  This probably works in the same way as the aspirin paste FutureDrAtkins suggested.

Tea Tree Oil. You can pick it up at Walmart. After cleansing your face with apply the oil with a Q – tip or cotton ball. Let that dry for a few minutes and then apply the toothpaste/ baking soda mix PPs discussed.

I had a big zit that started growing a couple days before I got married too. My friend turned me on to Tea Tree oil that morning. A little late, but it shrank. By the second day of our honeymoon my zit was gone.

Clearasil Vanishing Cream.  You can buy it at CVS, Target, or the like.  Don’t buy the storebrand knock-off.  Don’t pop them or pick at them.

Your makeup artist should be able to cover them (I woke up with a giant pimple on my cheek the morning of my wedding and my makeup artist worked wonders).  However, the oil of the zit will eat away at the makeup.  So you will need to touch it up periodically throughout the day.  If you have a good photographer, they’ll remove it from all your photos and you’ll be golden.  You’ll never remember (and never will anyone else) if there’s no photographic evidence.  😉

MilaBeth:  You’ve got a ton of advice, but I thought I’d chime in. I’ve had some success with honey. I just a little on the zit, put a bandaid over it, and wait (I usually do it over night). Hope they stay unnoticeable or clear up for your wedding!

Go to ulta and get Mario Badescu drying lotion. You’ll know what it is as it’s pepto bismol pink. You take a qtip and dip it in and put over your breakouts. Dries them out overnight! If you’re not around an ulta, go to sephora and purchase Kate Somerville’s eradicate. It’s the same thing, a sulfur pink paste but a bit more expensive ($25-30). Goodluck and congrats on the upcoming nuptials!

GO GET CORTISONE SHOTS FROM A DERMATOLOGIST!!!!  One will be able to squeeze you this afternoon in for this kind of situation.

Seriously, this is what I would do– the ONLY thing I would consider.  I wouldn’t risk using any hope-in-a-jar type over the counter products.  If you wake up tomorrow morning with the same situation you’ll be kicking yourself for not going with a foolproof method.  DERMATOLOGISTS EXIST FOR A REASON.
