Hey guys

I'm going to St. John in June 2010 to get married and am trying to figure out some accessories. I'm not a girly girl so I figured I'd need to start early and get some help to get it right. I already bought my dress and the model has on a really cool necklace that goes great with it. So I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a necklace like that. I tried etsy.com but its tedious work going through all the pages. It doesn't have to be metal just multi-strand. I'm also wondering if I just wore my hair down with a clip in it like the one attached, if that would look better. Just wondering what you guys think?

You could make a multi-strand necklace like that. Otherwise, I would suggest going o the mall and checking out random stores. Sometimes, stores like NY&Co and Express and the Limited have large fun necklaces like that. i don't know if you have acess to smaller botiques or hand made shops but I think you are right to start early in your search. Another great place is ESTY.com. If you haven't heard of it, it is a website where artists sell their handmade items. There are a ton of artists that do beautiful necklaces. You can search by color/material/etc. You can find items in all price ranges and you'll have a unique piece.

BTW..I just LOVE the necklace. I've decided to do a big chunky statement necklace myself...I just have to find the right one!

Jbell, you sound just like me. I too am not a girly girl and we are getting married in St. John in July!! I would love to hear details about your wedding. Ceremony on the beach? Reception location?
