I'm not sure about how the pearls look, but I was looking at things remembers for my bridal party. And their stuff isn't as nice quality as before. I ended getting all our personalized items from other stores or etsy sellers. I would pick pearls over things remembered.

I got the pearls in another wedding I remember Museum Way Pearls did a great job working with the bride. We all still wear them too. Either way both seem good. Thanks so much for your feedback!

I got each of mine a monogrammed land's end tote bag in their favorite colors, and am filling them with cute odds and ends that I think they'll like, plus a "bridesmaids survival kit" filled with little things they might need along the way.
Also, I am having custom necklaces made for each of them. I haven't received them yet, but I have to rave about my experience so far with Kerri Hale (kerrihale.etsy.com).... She is wonderful to work with and very reasonable price-wise.

I got everyone a pashmina and personalized stationery (from BellaBluDesigns on Etsy). I also got everyone a more personal gift (one of them got a clutch, someone else got a journal, that kind of thing). I got the pashminas from Amazing Collections -- Ruth has been great to work with and she gave me a 10% discount for bridal parties.

I am not sure what I am doing yet, but since I am getting married in july I was thinking of buying those little baskets that you used to get toys in when you were little to go to the beach, and filling it with a beach towel (maybe mongrammed or is that silly?), flip flops, a book or subscription to a magazine I know they will like, lotion, hair products, makeup, etc. I think I am skipping jewelry because I don't even know how to buy that for myself so the thought of pickiing it out for other people is too much for me!

Where did you buy the Pashimas? Did you get them online? I've been looking for a good deal so I can get some for my BMs to put in their gift baskets.
My plan for my BM gifts is to have a "relax" theme, so I'm getting them Slippers, a Pashima, a book (I'll get each one a different book so they can swap later), and a arroma therapy candle. And I'm going to put all of it in a monogram tote bag. Of course I haven't bought any of it yet... I need to get on that soon :)
I ended up buying this bracelet from Things Remembered with my girls names engraved on one side and "Bridesmaid" on the other.
Then, I am going to buythem a charm after each of our wedding events. For example, my bridal shower was a "Ladies tea party" so I got them this tea pot charm to add on the bracelet
Then, during my bachelorette weekend we had a very memorable experience at a sushi bar, so the girls are getting these sushi charms next
Im not sure yet what charm I am going to get for the actual wedding day. Im thinking of waiting until after the day so that I can pick something that represents a part of the day that was special, but that only the girls would understand!

What are good gifts for the bridals party? I was thinking of spending about $100 on each bridesmaid and a little more for the mothers...
I was thinking of buying either freshwater pearl earrings and necklaces drom Museum Way Pearls or something engraved from things remembered. I cannot decide... I had gotten those pearls as a gift and love them! Plus they are inexpensive...
