Hi Everyone —
I’m stuck on what to do for wedding jewelry. I’ve attached a picture of my dress. I do want some kind of dramatic jewelry, however my wedding is a beach wedding so I don’t want to overdo it. My fiance is Indian so I was thinking some cool silver / crystal chandelier earrings and a cuff / bracelet. But then I’m wondering if I’ll feel right without a necklace. I don’t have great sculptured collarbones or shoulders. So then I’m thinking maybe a statement necklace and simple stud earrings?
Here’s the thing – my hair has to be up – Aruba is really windy. I’ll have a simple elbow length veil that tucks in under the updo. Also — I am small – only 5’2″ and about 115lbs so I’m worried, will I get overwhelmed by any of this jewelry? I’ve attached pics of a few things I like but haven’t purchased anything yet.
I’ve also attached a picture of the ‘reception dress’ I plan to change into… (the slinky Nicole Miller)

I love the bracelet and chandelier earrings. For your wedding, I think you could go sans necklace. But if you are like me and would feel too naked, how about a single pendant on a thin chain? You could find a really nice fake 1 carat bezel set one (i just like bezels AND they’d go with your earrings which by the way i absolutely love) or go with moissanite. i have moissanite earrings I got on sale and they look amazing. I really like the very simple pendant idea. You could even do a pear shaped stone (small-ish since you are on the more petite side) =]

with the neckline and hair up, i think a great necklace would be fantastic – regardless of collar bones and shoulders (but i’m biased – i haven’t seen my collar bones in years.. or maybe that’s ever!)
i love indian inspired jewelry… they’ve got some great necklaces that sit flat but are still wide.. i’ll poke around for some photos later to post.

Love the idea of the chandelier earrings. Perhaps I’m biased because I’m not a huge necklace fan, but I definitely think that chandeliers and a bracelet will look fab with the dresses!

Keep the neckline simple! Let the dress and the earrings frame your face so that “you” stand out! 🙂 Gorgeous dresses!

I honestly like the peacock earrings with the flowers on them. They look unique. I’d go with either earrings or the necklace. You don’t want too much bling especially if you’re getting married at the beach.

If it’s going to be really windy, be careful with longer chandelier earrings because they could get caught on your hair. Maybe you could do a practice run when you get there to see what is most comfortable. I love the smaller chandelier earrings in your picture, they’re really pretty.
