So I am researching types of material/stones for wedding jewlery. What are all the types of stones and what will look best on pictures and in real life? I heard rhinestones might look not so good on pictures because they can reflect the light in such a way they turn out like black dots on the camera? What are some suggestions on picking the right stuff?

- Wedding: A very pretty church.
I’m going with higher quality costume jewellery, can’t imagine buying lots of new ‘real’ jewellery for single use. Weddings are over the top, you’re unlikely to wear this stuff much more than once, unless you go for very classic or understated pieces. I think I’ll be going for silvers or dull/light gold because I’m wearing ivory, but there is some stunning 20+ karat gold plated stuff out there with a lot of vavavoom!

Taiki: I was thinking of the high qualty costume jewelry too! I guess I am kind of confused on what stones/materials should be considered for it to look stunning on pictures and RL? Like I read about the swarovski crystals, but are the types of stones used mostly the SC and Rhinestones?
I am wearing ivory too! I have been trying to decide between gold or silver, but I think gold might look good with the ivory. I guess when it comes to bridal jewelry depends on what you want to spend I suppose. I mean I don’t want to spend too out there, but I want it to look flattering and beautiful all around!
